Slowly but surely we're making progress toward completing the album. Today we uploaded another song, called "Every Day". It's another "my baby done left me" country ballad, written and sung by Dean. Later tonight we'll be uploading another song, called "I Never Knew Love Could Hurt So Much" (not the longest song title in history ... not quite, anyway :-) This is one of Tim's songs from the late 1980's - early 1990's, possibly one of the best heartbreak ballads ever. But I'm prejudiced, of course ...
We used a classic recording trick on both of these songs, where some instruments are played backwards. It's something that Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and others used to do all the time, but you don't hear it much these days, especially on country songs! Hope you like it.
